The Influences of CO₂ Concentration Doubling on Growth and Development,Yield Formation and Germination Percentage of Winter Wheat

The diagnostic experiment of influences of CO₂ concentration doubling on winter wheat was conducted by using OTC-1 open top chamber.The results showed that when CO₂ concentration was doubled in the chamber,growth and development,leaf area index,biomass and yield were all greatly increased compared with those in normal CO₂ condition.This suggested that the increase of CO₂ concentration in atmosphere will have positive effects on plant growth.
