Abstract: The ecological benefits by applying World Bank’s Loan Project of soil and water conservation in the Loess Plateau were analyzed．The results show that the soil physical and chemical properties are improved，the soil fertility and the local grass and forest coverage are increased，at the same time，the local climate is improved，the natural disasters are decreased and the recovery and protection of biodiversities are promoted．
