Abstract: The concept and theory of the emergy an alysis are stated in this paper．And the application of the step and calculating method of emergy analysis in agro-ecosystem，the index system of emergy analysis in agro-ecosystem，and the significance of emergy analysis on the assessment and quantification of the value of resource and environment ale also discussed．
