Abstract: Effects of application of nitrogenous fertilizer on the short-dated cotton of top removal planting type with high photosynthetic show that the buildup fountain is the main reason of increasing production，enlarging storeroom is the limitation to production．A less nitrogenous fertilizer can improve the lint cotton yield remarkably，more nitrogenous fertilizer only makes cotton improving its adaptability．but not extra yield remarkably．The yield potential depends on a suit of planting techniques．
