Abstract: On the basis of ecological economics，the following main points of view have been discussed，such as economic underdevelopment in West China has been coming from the ecological destruction；ecological construction is the root of great west development of China；new thoughts of the coexistence of harmony between economy and ecology，sustainable development of economic．society，protecting resources in their utilization while utilizing them in protection should be established；ecological economic reform should be put into force．
