Abstract: The research progress on conservation tillage at home and in the world are stated and the effects of conservation tillage on crop yield，soil erosion，soil properties，water use efficiency，crop disease，pest and weed are analyzed．Finally，some key technical issues for the adoption of conservation tillage in China are emphasized．
