Abstract: Based on the experiments conducted in Yunnan in the last several decades and some other studies in the world，this article deals with the relationship between biodiversity and eco-agriculture．It is shown that the biodiversity has significandy revealed many functions，such as productivity，stability and pest occurrence，etc. of the ecosystems in agriculture．Therefore，the biodiversity is of apparent significance in eco-agiculture and sustainable development of agriculture．
