Abstract:
ffects of
Arbuscular mycorrhizal(AM) fungi:
Glomus mosseae(Nicol & Gerd) Gerd & Trappe,
Glomus versiforme Karsten Berch and
Gigaspora rosea Nicolson & Schenck on growth, yield and quality of
Phaseolus vulgaris L.in field have been investigated from 1996 to 1997.Results show that inoculating it against AM fungi will increase the contents of N,P,K,Ca,Mg,Cu in
Phaseolus vulgaris and its leaf chlorophyll,to enhance its transpiration rate, stomatal conductance and photosynthetic rate, and those to improve its growth and yield.Comparing the control to treatments, the contents of Vc,raw protein and carbonhydrate in pod are also increased. It suggests that
Glomus versiforme should be the most effective in colonization and its benefit to
Phaseolus vulgaris growth in field.
