Abstract: The status of K sources,new ways to improve K efficiency and physiological and genetics studies of differences in K nutrient characteristics of plants are discussed for the pourposes of providing theoretical basis for breeding new varieties which can efficiently utilize K-fertilizer and tolerate K-deficiency.
