生态农业经营主体的多元发展路径基于河北省58家生态农场绩效的研究

Multiple pathways for high-performance ecological farms: Evidence from 58 cases in Hebei Province

  • 摘要: 生态农业是推动农业绿色转型、落实乡村振兴的关键路径。生态农场作为我国发展生态农业的具体实践主体和创新示范标杆, 探索其高绩效发展路径具有重要的理论与现实意义。本文以河北省58家国家级与省级种植型、种养结合型生态农场为研究对象, 基于数据包络分析(DEA)法构建农场绩效评价指标体系, 利用实地调研所得的2022年截面数据, 通过带有非期望产出的超效率数据包络模型(Super-SBM)测算生态农场发展绩效。在此基础上, 结合组态视角, 运用模糊集定性比较分析法(fsQCA), 揭示资源禀赋、生产经营、市场条件与三方支持个维度协同赋能生态农场高绩效发展的多元路径。研究发现: 1)生态农场发展绩效平均值为1.088, 样本整体基本实现DEA有效; 2)识别出4条实现生态农场高绩效发展的差异化路径, 包括资源协同适配型、高价值垂直整合型、多维产业融合驱动型和技术创新与市场拓展型; 3)非高绩效生态农场存在3条约束路径, 分别为生态优先型、资源错配型和要素瓶颈型。基于此, 研究建议生态农场加强资源整合, 在财政补贴、技术推广和市场拓展方面对其提供精准支持; 建立生态农场的动态准入与退出机制, 激发主体内在活力; 鼓励多产业融合与创新, 增强其自我运转能力, 实现可持续发展。

     

    Abstract: Agroecology serves as a pivotal approach to promoting agricultural green transformation and realizing rural revitalization in the context of sustainable development. As the primary vehicle for the practical implementation and innovative demonstration of agroecology in China, ecological farms hold significant theoretical and practical value in exploring pathways toward high-performance development. This study focused on 58 national and provincial-level ecological farms in Hebei Province, encompassing both crop-based and integrated crop-livestock operations. By employing Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA), this study constructed a comprehensive performance evaluation indicator system to capture the multidimensional nature of ecological farm development. Using cross-sectional data collected from field investigations in 2022, the Super-SBM model incorporating undesirable outputs was applied to measure the development performance of the farms. Subsequently, a configurational perspective was adopted, and fuzzy-set qualitative comparative analysis (fsQCA) was employed to reveal the pathways through which various factors synergistically contribute to high-performance ecological farms, focusing on the interplay among four dimensions: resource endowments, production and operations, market conditions, and tri-party support. The findings of this study are threefold. First, with a mean score of 1.088 indicating DEA efficiency attainment in most cases, the findings substantiate that ecological farms successfully balance dual sustainability objectives where operational performance disparities nevertheless remain observable. Second, four distinct pathways leading to high-performance ecological farms were identified: (1) the resource synergy pathway prioritizes strategic coordination of land-labor allocations through policy-supported optimization; (2) the vertical integration pathway centers on cultivating premium niche products while establishing closed-loop value chains from production to distribution; (3) the industrial convergence pathway orchestrates cross-sector convergence by interlinking primary production with processing and experiential tourism sectors; (4) the tech-market synergy pathway leverages smart agricultural technologies alongside multi-channel marketing architectures to maximize market penetration. Third, the study identified three constraining pathways for underperforming farms. These include the eco-overemphasis pathway, where an excessive focus on ecological goals undermines economic viability; the resource misallocation pathway, characterized by inefficient use of available resources and lack of market responsiveness; and the factor bottlenecks pathway, where limitations in land, labor, or capital restrict farm development. Based on these findings, the study provided actionable recommendations: Ecological farms should prioritize strengthening resource integration and efficiency through targeted support in areas such as financial subsidies, technology promotion, and market development. Moreover, a dynamic entry-exit mechanism for ecological farms should be established to stimulate internal vitality. Additionally, policymakers are also encouraged to promote multi-industry integration and innovation to enhance the self-sustaining capacities and achieve long-term sustainable development without over-reliance on external support.
