Abstract: The establishment Of compensation mechanisms of forest ecologicaI resources is discussed which involves compensation base，target and scope，purpose，ways，amount and celculatioa methods,possible difficulties and obstacles for carrirng out the ecological compensation．The current theory on commodity value isn’t suitable to assess the value of forest eco-logical resources.But from the view of psychology，principles of classification of ecological forest and commodity forest as well as the functional targets of ecological forest can be dectided ，then the compensation value for forest ecological resources can be estimated.
