Abstract: Th serious shortage of land resources, intensified contradiction of water supply and need, gross waste of crop straw and etc. are major problems confronted with the agricultural development in the plain located in front of Mt．Taiheng．Based on several years’experiments and demonstration researches in Luanchen County，some ways for solving those problems and keeping the sustainable development of agriculture in this region were presented．
